As I arrive home, driving up the road where we live, I’m surrounded by beauty. We are fortunate to live in an area where nature reflects each season’s changing colours magnificently. And I often stop my car to look at my surroundings through the lens of a camera.
My questions for you are:
- How often do you stop to really admire the view?
- And what do you see when you look:
- Up?
- Down?
- East?
- West?
- North?
- South?
- When I ask this question, often people aren’t sure where North and South are in relation to them.
- And how different does the view look when you look through the camera lens, tilting the view in different directions?
Often we look at the world in a certain, fixed way. Try experimenting, consciously considering different angles. Take time. You might be surprised by what you do see!
