Brenda
Brenda Eckstein is an experienced trainer who has presented training on five continents. Topics include strategy, leadership development, verbal and written communication, customer service, presentation skills, networking and effective delegation. Her two published books are ‘Networking Tactics’ and ‘ABCs of Effective Networking’.
Through PRISA (the Public Relations Institute of South Africa), Brenda is accredited as a Chartered Public Relations Practitioner. She also has ‘Professional Member’ accreditation status with the NSAA (National Speakers Association of Australia) where she is currently a member of the New South Wales chapter. Brenda is also a Services SETA Registered Assessor.
Leadership roles have included being the first woman to be President of the Pietermaritzburg Chamber of Commerce and Industries and International President of International Training in Communication, a world-wide organization providing leadership development, communication and organisational skills and business meeting procedure. Brenda was recently appointed as an Honorary Member of the Pietermaritzburg Chamber of Business.
Besides presenting training and facilitating strategy in South Africa and other countries, Brenda has years of coaching experience. In addition, through the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business, Centre for Coaching, Brenda has qualified in the ‘Coaching to Excellence’ and ‘Associate Coaching Course’ and is currently enrolled in their one-year ‘Professional Coaching Course’.
